Parviz Shahriari (Persian: پرویز شهریاری; 24 November 1926 – 11 May 2012) was a mathematician, translator, writer, teacher, journalist, political activist and one of enduring figures in the field of knowledge and modern education in Iran. He has authored and translated more than four hundred volumes of books in mathematics, history, philosophy and literature, and more than a thousand articles have been published by him in various publications.
