University of Brahmanbaria (Brahmanbaria University) is a reputed private university in Bangladesh. Its progress is from 2020. The university was approved by the Bangladesh Ministry of Education on 6 March 2019 and by the Bangladesh University Grants Commission on 10 June 2019. It is the first university of the district located in Brahmanbaria district.[1]
History
[edit]The mirror of a developed nation is the educational institution. In order to build a prosperous and better future, not only the building of educational institutions, but also its quality improvement and modernization has become very important and keeping that goal in mind, Member of Parliament for Brahmanbaria-3 (Sadar and Vijayanagar), prominent educationist, war martyred freedom fighter, Mr. R A M Ubaidul Moktadir. The University of Brahmanbaria (Brahmanbaria University) was established for the first time in Brahmanbaria district, the city of education, culture, art and heritage, with the joint initiative and efforts of Chowdhury MP and his wife, former Director General (Grade-1) of the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education, Professor Fahima Khatun. Brahmanbaria University started its educational program from 2020. "Education for Social Change" is inextricably linked with the slogan of the institution "Quality Education". So now the institution has become an ideal institution of student-friendly higher education[2]
