The Triumph Daytona Moto2 765 is a three-cylinder sport bike, produced by Triumph Motorcycles.
Specifications
[edit]The Daytona Moto2 is a mid-size sports bike, equipped with a double-spar aluminum frame.[1] The motorcycle is strictly derived from those used in the Moto2 class of the world championship. To pay homage to this collaboration with the FIM, Triumph has created this production derivative bike that takes up the name of the previous Daytonas.
The power unit, which was developed using that of the Triumph Street Triple RS as a basis, is a 765 cc inline three-cylinder four-stroke engine equipped with a liquid-cooled system that produces a maximum power of 130 HP at 12,250 rpm and delivers a torque of 80 Nm at 9,750 rpm.[2] Airflow is managed by two overhead camshafts (DOHC) with 12 valves (4 per cylinder)[3] and fuel administered by a multipoint indirect electronic injection system.
The two Brembo floating disc brakes at the front have a diameter of 310 mm and are actuated by radially mounted four-piston calipers. At the rear there is a disc brake with a diameter of 220 mm and a single piston caliper. The front tires measured 120/70 ZR 17 while the rear 180/55 ZR 17.[4]
