TriangleOS is a now-discontinued operating system made by Wim Cools.[1][2] The project started active development on 1 October 2001.[2] Development stopped on 1 January 2006.[2]

[edit]The operating system can fit onto a single floppy disk including the applications and drivers[5], you can load new drivers using the run-time Dynamic Loadable Modules[5], it contains a graphical user interface[5] and contains security features such as OS file protection, event logs, and user privileges.[5]

[edit]It was not released to the public as it was not finished enough but all the features introduced in v0.0.4 will be in v0.0.5.[5] Features include:
- ATA/ATAPI drivers[5]
- Filesystem drivers[5]
- Networking including DNS support[5]
- An updated shell[5]
- Port of the GNU Binutils and GCC[5]
- GUI redesign[5]
