Tobi Asehinde
Tobi Asehinde is a Nigerian entrepreneur, digital marketing expert, and business growth strategist. He is the founder and CEO of Digital Marketing Skill Institute (DMSI), an educational technology (EdTech) company that provides digital marketing training and connects organizations globally with digital talent through the use of artificial intelligence (AI). Asehinde is known for his contributions to advancing digital marketing skills across Africa and empowering emerging entrepreneurs to thrive in the digital economy.[1][2]

He later pursued higher education in the United Kingdom, where he earned a Master's Degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Portsmouth. His academic background in technology served as a foundation for his career in digital marketing and business growth.[2]

[edit]Asehinde began his entrepreneurial journey by founding several tech-driven companies, the most notable being Digital Marketing Skill Institute (DMSI). He established the company in 2015,[3] with the goal of providing digital marketing training, DMSI has grown into a leading educational technology company. It has trained over 115,000 learners across 37 countries and four continents. DMSI’s mission is to equip individuals with essential digital marketing skills and connect them with global job opportunities, either as employees or freelancers, using AI-driven tools.[2] His company, DMSI, which started as a digital marketing blog, has evolved into a leading educational technology company.[2]
Under his leadership, DMSI has partnered with organizations such as the Challenge for Youth Employment (CFYE), a project funded by the Netherlands government.[3] This initiative aims to empower 5,000 women in Africa’s male-dominated digital marketing industry by providing them with training and connecting them with global job opportunities.[4]
In 2023, Business Day recognized DMSI as one of the Top 100 Fastest Growing Companies in Nigeria, further solidifying its role as a leader in digital education and talent development.[1] Beyond DMSI, Asehinde has founded another tech-focused company Accredital, A platform connecting African digital talents with businesses globally.[5]

He is a past president of the Lagos Phoenix Lions Club, Ikoyi, where he contributed to several humanitarian efforts. Asehinde also serves on the advisory board of the Health Emergency Initiative, a non-profit organization that raises funds to cover medical bills for indigent emergency patients.[6]
