Titkanlu (Persian: تيتكانلو)[a] is a city in, and the capital of, Khabushan District of Faruj County, North Khorasan province, Iran.[4] It also serves as the administrative center for Titkanlu Rural District.[5][b]

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, Titkanlu's population was 3,630 in 950 households, when it was a village in Khabushan Rural District.[6][c] The following census in 2011 counted 3,827 people in 1,118 households,[7] by which time the village had been elevated to the status of a city.[8] The 2016 census measured the population of the city as 3,835 people in 1,198 households.[2]
