Timilsain is a village in Achham District in the Seti Zone of western Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census, the village had a population of 1931 living in 389 houses.[1] At the time of the 2001 Nepal census, the population was 2022, of which 35% was literate.[1]
Timilsain is part of the Bannigadi Jayagadh area in Achham District. The village is situated approximately 5 km north of Mangalsen, the district's capital. It is surrounded by other settlements such as Atasain and Malukatte. The village lies at an elevation of 1,322 meters (4,337 feet) and operates on Nepal Time (UTC+5:45). Predominantly Hindu, Timilsain reflects the rural lifestyle of the Sudurpashchim Province, with agriculture and livestock forming the primary sources of livelihood.[2][3]
