Tianjin Haihe Hospital

Tianjin Haihe Hospital is located at 890 Jingu Road, Shuanggang Town, Jinnan District, Tianjin, People's Republic of China. It was established in May 2003 during the SARS outbreak as a designated hospital for the centralized treatment of SARS patients in Tianjin. After the SARS epidemic subsided in 2003, Tianjin Haihe Hospital evolved into a comprehensive Grade 3A hospital, specializing in the treatment of respiratory diseases. It has consistently served as a designated hospital for the centralized treatment of respiratory epidemics in Tianjin. In January 2020, Tianjin Haihe Hospital became the designated hospital for the centralized treatment of COVID-19 patients in Tianjin. Tianjin Haihe Hospital is under the jurisdiction of the Tianjin Municipal Health Commission, and the Tianjin Institute of Respiratory Diseases is based in Haihe Hospital.

In 2014, Tianjin Haihe Hospital collaborated with Tianjin Medical University to establish the "Tianjin Medical University Haihe Clinical College". In December 2018, Tianjin Haihe Hospital signed a joint educational agreement with Tianjin University and was designated as the "Tianjin University Haihe Hospital".[1]
