The Sabarmati Report is an upcoming Hindi language drama thriller film written by Avinash and Arjun with direction by Ranjan Chandel, later replaced by Dheeraj Sarna.[3][4] The film is produced by Balaji Motion Pictures and Vikir Films Production, with distributed by Zee Studios. It is based on Godhra train burning incident of 27 February 2002, involving Sabarmati Express train.[5][4][6] It stars Vikrant Massey, Raashii Khanna and Riddhi Dogra. The film is scheduled for a theatrical release on 15 November 2024.[7][8]

The project was announced on January 2024 by Shobha Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor, under the banner of Balaji Motion Pictures and Vikir Films Production.

This film is initially planned for an theatrical release on 3 May 2024[13][14], then later pushed to August 2 2024[15], due to the censor issues and Ranjan Chandel's (maker of the film) sudden quietness.[16] After multiple issues and release dates The Sabarmati Report is sets to release by theatrically on 15 November 2024.[17]
