The Kind Miss Seon-joo (Korean: 친절한 선주씨) is an upcoming South Korean television series starring Shim Yi-young in the title role, along with Song Chang-eui and Choi Jung-yoon. It is scheduled to premiere on MBC TV in November 2024.[1]
Synopsis
[edit]The Kind Miss Seon-joo is a human drama about the life remodeling of a woman named Seon-joo who tries to break up a bad marriage and build a 'new' house to start anew.

[edit]The Kind Miss Seon-joo is planned by Jang Jae-hoon, written by Seo Jung, who previously wrote the drama My Brilliant Life (2020–2021), director Kim Heung-dong, who directed Everybody Say Kimchi (2014), is directing, and produced by MBC C&I.[1]
Casting
[edit]Shim Yi-young had been cast as the lead for the series on June 28, 2024,[4] and confirmed for her appearance on August 8.[5] On September 10, Song Chang-eui had been cast and confirmed his appearance for the series.[2] On September 24, Choi Jung-yoon had confirmed her appearance as the main character in the series.[3]
