The Institute of Political Management (IPM) is an educational center dedicated to the study and advancement of modern political technologies, public administration, economy, democratic transitions, human rights, green policy, gender equality, anti-corruption policy and election technologies in Azerbaijan. It serves as a platform for renowned experts and professionals from various fields to share their insights with the general public. CoFounder and Director of IPM is Azer Gasimli.[1]

Mission and activity

[edit]

IPM also plays a vital role in translating and producing short audio and video summaries of key books on politics, economics, democracy, gender equality and ecology. These efforts aim to educate the general public and promote liberal values within the country.[2]

The primary mission of IPM is to foster and support democratic development in Azerbaijan by creating a pool of highly skilled human resources. Additionally, IPM endeavors to make the political management experiences from different countries accessible to the public through well-organized programs and courses. IPM has successfully conducted numerous such programs and courses, focusing on the aforementioned areas of study.[3]

We have partnered with 12 professional teachers and trainers, each an expert in their respective field. Our team includes university professors, former diplomats, renowned lawyers, experienced trainers, consultants, and experts from international organizations.[4]

Established two years ago, IPM has graduated 450 individuals from its training courses.[5] As part of our commitment to providing practical political experience, we have facilitated opportunities for our successful graduates to gain hands-on experience in Turkey through partnerships with local organizations. This immersive experience allows them to apply the knowledge and skills acquired in our courses to real-world settings, such as democratic political organizations, civil society groups, and municipalities in Turkey.

In addition, we have launched an Alumni Club comprising graduates from our programs. The Alumni Club provides ongoing support and engagement, organizing trainings and meetings with renowned analysts and public figures. These gatherings offer further learning opportunities and networking prospects for club members.[6][7][8][9]

IPM remains dedicated to its mission of promoting democratic values and professional development in Azerbaijan. We continuously strive to enhance our educational offerings, expand our network of partners, and empower our alumni to become active participants in shaping the political landscape of the country.
