The Further Adventures of Tennessee Buck is a 1988 Sri Lankan-American adventure comedy film directed by and starring David Keith.[1]
Summary
[edit]Ken and Barbara are tourists on safari in a Borneo jungle, led by tour guide Buck Malone. The group is taken prisoner by a native tribe. While tribal women strip and oil Barbara to prepare her for the chief, Ken is set free so that the chief's men can kill him. The chief shows Barbara Ken's severed head and then rapes her. When Buck is set free, he rescues Barbara and they escape.

Reception
[edit]Todd Sussman, reviewing for The Miami News, says that it is unclear whether the movie is a comedy or an action thriller, but concludes that either way, it is terrible and "possibly this year's worst film".[2] The Los Angeles Times call it a "pathetic little porno-comic-adventure".[3]
Leonard Maltin awarded the film two and a half stars.[4]
