The Fifth Season is a 1953 American play by Sylvia Regan. It was a hit on Broadway running for 646 performances but is little remembered.[1] Unlike most Broadway hits from this period it was not turned into a film. The play was a success despite poor reviews.[2]
The play was performed in Britain where it was not success. An extract of the play was filmed for British television in 1954 with Ron Randell.[3][unreliable source?]
A musical version of the play was produced off Broadway in 1975.
