Biography
[edit]The Excellents was a Doo-wop music group from 1960 in New York which was signed to Mermaid Records and made a couple of covers. They were the original singers for Coney Island Baby, their biggest hit. Their only album was "Presenting The Excellents".[1]
Reunion
[edit]The Excellents had a reunion back in 2017 [2]. Their latest reunion was in 2023 in Brooklyn, Patchogue Theatre. [3]
