Six cases
[edit]At the moment, "correct" denotes the correct answer regardless of whether the contestant actually picked it. This is ambiguous in the absence of further context: did the contestant answer correctly, or take the money without answering? I feel we should distinguish the cases.
Moreover, often when the contestant opts to take the money, we find out what answer he/she would have picked if he/she had had nothing to lose and therefore played on. Should we indicate these would-be answers?
To summarise, at the moment we have:
Correct | Incorrect | |
---|---|---|
Picked | correct | chosen |
Would have picked | correct | (default) |
Didn't pick | correct | (default) |
We distinguish between only three cases. Should we distinguish all six of them? If so, what would be a good colour scheme to use? — Smjg (talk) 16:40, 8 April 2012 (UTC)
- @Smjg: This template needs fixing, as severe readability problem occur when wikilinks are used. this is fine but this clearly isn't. Lighter colours are probably the way forward.--Nilfanion (talk) 11:05, 30 March 2017 (UTC)
Background color
[edit]Is it okay to have an option to change the black background into blue to reflect the color scheme used by various franchises? HiwilmsTalk 06:14, 27 September 2020 (UTC)
- I agree, it should be blue. The black colour is very distracting visually when the template is used in the article. It was originally blue, why was it changed? The C of E God Save the Queen! (talk) 11:18, 7 March 2021 (UTC)
- @Hiwilms: Just looked at the history and it turns out it was done by an IP without consultation so I have turned it back to blue. The C of E God Save the Queen! (talk) 11:21, 7 March 2021 (UTC)
