Sub regions
[edit]Fixed the sub-regions to reflect those listed on the following Victorian Government sites:
- Greater Melbourne - https://www.suburbandevelopment.vic.gov.au/
- Barwon South West - https://www.rdv.vic.gov.au/victorias-regions/barwon-south-west
- Grampians - https://www.rdv.vic.gov.au/victorias-regions/grampians
- Loddon Mallee - https://www.rdv.vic.gov.au/victorias-regions/loddon-mallee
- Hume - https://www.rdv.vic.gov.au/victorias-regions/hume
- Gippsland - https://www.rdv.vic.gov.au/victorias-regions/gippsland
Notes:
- Hume lists the sub-regions as 'Goulburn' & 'Ovens Murray', but its development plans list them as 'Central Hume', 'Goulburn Valley', 'Lower Hume' & 'Upper Hume'.
- Gippsland doesn't list any sub-regions. The sub-regions listed were already established on here and they seem to match the local tourism site (https://www.visitgippsland.com.au/), with the addition of 'Latrobe Valley'.
The remaining areas listed under 'Districts', are common names for areas in Victoria, and either cover multiple regions/sub-regions or have no clearly defined borders. -- ThylacineHunter (talk) 13:41, 18 November 2021 (UTC)
- Although there does appear to be some inconsistencies:
- https://www.rdv.vic.gov.au/information-portal/more-information/region-descriptions-and-geography-structure - It seems the above is based on the "Regional Partnerships regions"
- https://business.vic.gov.au/__data/assets/pdf_file/0003/2002638/Victorias_Tourism_Regions_map_2021.pdf - Might be good to add the tourism regions and sub-regions
