Template talk:Userspace linking templates
Title
[edit]These templates are not for use in signatures. They are for use on talk pages to refer to other users. You're not supposed to use templates in signatures at all. --ChrisRuvolo (t) 01:13, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
- Maybe we need a thesaurus, signatures in Wikipedia are what is placed at the end of comments in discussions. Some of what is listed are unsign, the rest is what? --209.244.43.122 (talk) 21:46, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
sorting
[edit]I'm going to take a few moments and try to sort this long mess into reasonable groupings. if anyone objects, please revert. --Ludwigs2 22:54, 31 October 2008 (UTC)
Substitution?
[edit]It doesn't make much sense to substitute the members, as then the documentation display will lag behind the actual templates as they are subject to regular editing. –xenotalk 21:54, 12 September 2011 (UTC)
What a mess this is
[edit]Hey if a "see also" template needs to be collapsed, that's a clue that it's just too big! All these templates are transcluded everywhere, making it darn near impossible to figure out where they are actually used. This monster needs to be broken down into manageable pieces. - Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format. Stickee (talk) 00:55, 6 September 2014 (UTC)

[edit]192.0.2.0/24 ? shouldn't it be 192.0.2.0.42 as in all other places. Yug (talk) 13:23, 19 April 2020 (UTC)
- If correct, could we use an other example that "24" which is the exact inverse of "42" used in other templates. Yug (talk) 13:25, 19 April 2020 (UTC)
