Clarify
[edit]I'm of the mind to clarify/change this to state that the offer doesn't include restoring defamatory, libelous, or BLP violating content. A lot of folk use this though. ++Lar: t/c 19:15, 2 June 2007 (UTC)
- How would you state it? The sentence "If it's not a copyright violation, personal information, libel or similar" seems fine to me. Garion96 (talk) 19:27, 2 June 2007 (UTC)
- this change sorts it, in my view... Thanks, Doc. ++Lar: t/c 00:37, 3 June 2007 (UTC)
Request
[edit]I would like to request a copy of a page that was tagged for speedy deletion on "Jenna Guadagni" by userfly. Please let me know how I can get it. BK2002 (talk) 20:10, 15 January 2009 (UTC)BK2002
Hello. I would like to please request a copy of a deleted article, titled "Avakit", that I wrote yesterday. I am new user, please let me know what I need to do to request a copy. thanks. Avazed (talk) 11:07, 23 August 2008 (UTC)
Hello, please be kind enough to let me know why an article on me, Leela Floyd, which was in wikipedia for many years, has been suddenly deleted? I published the very first book on Indian music for schools in the UK titled ‘Indian Music’ which is why it was included in wikipedia. I have also printed several articles on the subject. Thanks for your help, Leela🙏🏾 Nadarthi (talk) 13:20, 7 February 2023 (UTC)
- Wrong place for this type of question (this tells why it was deleted and a far better location for this type of question and discussion would be Wikipedia:Help desk as template talk pages are rarely watched (heck, I'm only here because of an error I'm fixing). Best wishes, Zinnober9 (talk) 05:10, 8 February 2023 (UTC)
Suggested change to template
[edit]I propose to add this text to the template:
- I can also temporarily undelete a deleted page and move into a new user page, called userfication.
- Example: User:FredMary creates Poor article, after deletion, Poor article becomes User:FredMary/Poor article
I look forward to your comments. travb (talk) 05:47, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
- I don't see any problems with adding that. – Alex43223 T | C | E 12:10, 27 December 2008 (UTC)
Recovery
[edit]RECOVERY
I also would like my page restored. I need clarification as to why it did not meet the requirements. Thanks. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rspayne (talk • contribs) 02:36, 2 November 2009 (UTC)
I would like to receive my deleted page. An explanation of why it was deleted would nice as well. Please compare my article to others in the same category, like Urban Decay, Stila, MAC, etc. Too Faced's article does not "blatantly" advertise and there is no plagarism. Please get back to me asap.
Thank You. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Irene23 (talk • contribs) 20:54, 13 February 2009 (UTC)
I too was hoping to receive my deleted page. It was speedily deleted because of notability and I'd like to see how to get my page about a legitimate business into the notability guidelines.
Thanks.

Hi. I am hoping for someone to please userfy an article I wrote yesterday titled Equinibrium deleted by Mufka. It was deleted for reason "A7 - does not indicate significance of article". I am unsure as to how to improve on this article, as it seems similar to other defunct band's pages, but I will try. Thank you.

Hi I would like a copy of my deleted page: Patrick Mott. Thanks!!! User: Patrick.Mott.012
Hello, I would appreciate having a copy of my userpage (User:DrDoog) that was speedily deleted during a period of my absence for reasons that seemed a bit too extreme due to the fact that it was not an encyclopedia page. Thanks, DrDoog (talk) 16:33, 14 April 2009 (UTC)
Copy of a deleted article
[edit]Hi, could you do me a favor and find a copy of this artile 1993 Murders in Prashanthi Nilayam? It has been re-created, (I'm not sure how long ago) and myself and a few other editors think it may be the same as the previously deleted article.
This came up when I was working on the backlog of current NPOV disputes. When I read the article, it not only had serious POV issues, but it also lacked sources and notability. After chiming in on the discussions another editor messaged me on my talk space about ow it had been previously deleted and wanting to know how to get a copy of the deleted article so we could compare them and hopefully get a speedy delete. Thank you for your time.Drew Smith What I've done 00:49, 10 May 2009 (UTC)
Please will you userfy "Villages of Europe" for me. I wish to create a page relating to the film "Villages of Europe" (es: Pueblos de Europa) and need to know if the previous entry related to this or to another topic; if this, to check why it was deleted so it does not happen again.

Userify request
[edit]Could you userify the deleted Chris Thieneman article for me? I probably put it up too soon; was about to get back to adding some better sourcing and modifying the slanted language on it today.
Thanks!Jonschr (talk) 04:20, 9 January 2010 (UTC)

[edit]It seemed to have been erased in the past day or two, and I want a copy of my article for my own personal references? Charlies Belief (talk) 15:58, 18 June 2023 (UTC)
Userify requests
[edit]I am writing to express my dismay regarding the recent deletion of the article on "lemywayy," a rising musical artist, producer, and composer. I understand that Wikipedia has strict guidelines to ensure the quality and reliability of its content, and I fully respect and appreciate these standards.
However, I believe that the deletion of the article may have been premature. lemywayy, born Ibrahim Lamiri Goli, is a notable figure in the music industry, particularly within the alternative R&B and rap genres. His work has already made significant impacts, and his influence continues to grow. He is also venturing into the fashion industry with his upcoming clothing brand, "Yellow Crew," inspired by his grandfather's love for fashion.
The article was intended to provide a comprehensive overview of lemywayy's early life, musical career, influences, and business ventures. This information is not only relevant to his fans but also contributes to the cultural and artistic landscape documented on Wikipedia. Deleting this article removes a valuable source of information about an emerging artist who is making noteworthy contributions to his field.
I would like to respectfully request that the article be userified. This would allow me to continue improving and expanding it to meet Wikipedia's standards. By doing so, I can ensure that the article includes more verifiable sources and provides a more detailed and balanced account of lemywayy's achievements and impact.
Thank you for considering my request. I am committed to adhering to Wikipedia's guidelines and would appreciate the opportunity to refine and enhance the article accordingly.
Sincerely, [Your Name] Lamiri Goli (talk) 16:33, 30 July 2024 (UTC)
