I cannot figure out how this template should be formatted, neither have I figured out how to input ancient Greek into wikipedia. Anyone who can improve / correct this page is most welcome to do so. --Marlow4 22:00, 9 September 2005 (UTC)
For comparison, the German version of this template says instead
- Όδε χρήστης έχει μίαν μέσην επιστήμην τής αρχαίης Ελληνικής γλώσσης συμφέρειν.

- Okay, I've touched up my version which now reads:
- Όδε ἐγκυκλοπαιδειουργὸς αρχαίην Ελληνικήν γλώσσην γράφειν μέσως οἷος τ' ἐστί.
- I don't like the use of χρήστης for 'user', I think it's unclear. Encyclopaedeiourgos (please excuse the transliteration but cutting and pasting doesn't seem to work well with Greek unicode) may be a neologism (which I got off of one of the other grc translations anyway IIRC), but I think it's quite clear to anyone what it means. I did take mesôs from the German page in place of my original mathematikôs since it matches most other language templates better and mathematikôs may be better for grc-3. The difference between 'knowing how to translate' and 'being able to write' is probably just a question of taste.
- This is all just explaining the logic of how the template got into the form it's in; I won't be offended if someone wants to redo it. Anyone who can master the input to get the breathings to work right when rendered is especially welcome (in my browser they look fine in the editing window but come out a little off on the actual page). --Marlow4 07:14, 30 September 2005 (UTC)
