change
[edit]What was the basis of the recent change, the result on my user page being that I'm now "a native of" rather than simply "from" Scotland? They're rather a different thing, potentially bringing in a racial element, or someone who has lived there for a long period of time might consider themself "from" but not "a native of". There's doubtless a sizeable intersection between the two sets but they are not one and the same thing. I prefer the simpler "from" to the slightly pompous "a native of". Was this discussed elsewhere as a policy on templates or does it just concern this one? Mutt Lunker (talk) 05:56, 9 July 2011 (UTC)
- I have, once again, reverted this change for the above reasons. Mutt Lunker (talk) 20:31, 31 December 2011 (UTC)
