Ambiguously necessary health care
[edit]Some treatments lack conclusive supporting evidence of their efficacy. I did not intend for this navbox to be placed on articles about such treatments, and intended only that this box should show readers only those treatments which unambiguously are overused and also the causes of doctors and patients recommended totally unnecessary health care. Removal of unrelated items
[edit]I have removed the following items from the list as they do not directly relate to the area of Unnecessary health care:
- Antidepressant discontinuation syndrome
- Benzodiazepine withdrawal syndrome
- Effects of long-term benzodiazepine use
Just because stopping them has a cost does not mean that they were unnecessary. There are some others that are line ball that I have left. Gusfriend (talk) 22:49, 27 January 2023 (UTC)
