Great work, but
[edit]This really is great work. But there usual policy with Cyrillic is to give a modified Library of Congress transliteration, and to use others if it's more common in English. So usually it's Kiev not Kyiv, and Buchach and Halych. Not Bučač and Halyč. That is, unless you can find English-language sources that spell them that way. Once again, great work, and I'll spread the good news around. Kevlar67 02:52, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
- Oh yeah. See this: Wikipedia:Naming conventions (Cyrillic) Kevlar67 02:52, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
- The template is a good idea. Where is the info taken from? --Irpen 03:19, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
- I think it comes from here UGCC#Modern_Times. Kevlar67 04:47, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
- I have fixed the names into correct Ukrainian transliteration: Bučač, Donets'k, Krym → Buchach, Donetsk, Crimea —dima/s-ko/ 04:03, 27 March 2007 (UTC)
