Songs

How are you determining which songs to include in the message? All of them? I know there is a Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite article as well, and maybe more I don't know about. Adam Bishop 05:48, 18 Apr 2004 (UTC)

Answer: all the songs with articles I could find. "Being" is on now. I suppose if people keep on writing articles about songs, the list will become too long, but at least for now, I think it's fine to include them all... Seems unlikely to me that somebody will actually write an article for every Beatles song, but there are probably a few more that are noteworthy ("Here Comes the Sun" comes to mind). Hey guys- I think the "edit" link looks kind of tacky, and is not seen on any of the other templates... Do you think we should maybe remove it? - DropDeadGorgias (talk) 03:11, Jul 19, 2004 (UTC)

More and more templates are beginning to get the Edit link added to it. The code to make this possible was specially created for this reason. I'm not sure if it's a Wikipedia standard, but it is helpful for everybody, newbies and old wiki contributors. --Cantus 04:30, 19 Jul 2004 (UTC)
I am in favor of an edit link on many or perhaps even all templates. The whole principle of a wiki is that you can edit the page; this should include the template part. It is more convenient this way, and otherwise newbies would not even know how to do it.
However, I would put it at the bottom right, that seems more standard.--Patrick 23:01, 19 Jul 2004 (UTC)

TheBeatles->The Beatles

I've moved this from {{TheBeatles}} to {{The Beatles}}, to be more compliant with the manual of style. - DropDeadGorgias (talk) 14:20, Jul 19, 2004 (UTC)

Yesterday ... and Today, I went through all the articles with the {{TheBeatles}} template and replaced them with {{The Beatles}}. I guess someone had to do it. - Vague | Rant 05:25, Dec 11, 2004 (UTC)

Who is Geoff Emerick?

Someone should either create an article about him or take his name off the template. Preferably the former.
