Are they really Christian rock?

A couple months ago, someone changed this template's category from bands templates to Christian rock groups templates. I'm not sure this is accurate. The '7s certainly don't view themselves as a Christian rock band. As Michael Roe (posting under the handle "Doctor Love") said on their message board: "Christian Rock Band: We have never called ourselves that." [1] Now, they did release a few albums on CCM labels, but that was a long time ago. These days, I think very few people in the CCM subculture would even know about the 77s.
