Six star rank
[edit]Should this template link also to 6 star rank? This rank is controversial at best and seen by some as purely ceremonial or even purely political, but it's something people will want to know about, and we should make it as easy as possible for them to find this information. Generally, we shouldn't, seeing as how the 6-star rank "has never explicitly" been awarded at all. Sure, the ranks "Generalissimo", "Admiral of the Navy", "General of the Armies", and "Dae Wonsu" (Korean) are considered the equivalent of a 6-star rank, but NATO doesn't even have a code for it. In that case, shouldn't the template be called NATO star officer ranks if it's restricted to NATO designations? Andrewa (talk) 13:08, 28 November 2009 (UTC)
Well, someone done it. I guess now we wait for the fireworks... Andrewa (talk) 07:35, 23 April 2010 (UTC)
