Planck
[edit]Surely the 'Future Telescopes' section should include the Planck Surveyor?! It is the follow up to WMAP, to be launched by ESA at the same time as Herschel Space Observatory. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 195.194.120.37 (talk) 15:54, 25 February 2008 (UTC)

Needs expansion
[edit]There are a lot more space telescopes, past, present and future, that are not listed on this template. See Space observatory and Category:Space telescopes. Mike Peel (talk) 18:21, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
Failed programs
[edit]Shouldn't there be a section on failed programs? 70.55.88.176 (talk) 06:44, 9 May 2008 (UTC)
Herschel and Planck
[edit]I've moved the Herschel and Planck telescopes to the "current" list, assuming that launch, rather than completion of commissioning is the relevant event. — Aldaron • T/C 03:58, 15 May 2009 (UTC)
Definition of space observatory
[edit]Hello,
since it seems that wikipedia has taken "space observatory" and "space telescope" to be synonyms, I think the AMS-02 experiment should be taken off, as that is by no strech a telescope.
Chang'e 4
[edit]The Chang'e 4 article currently uses this navbox, and the mission does include a radio telescope payload. Should it be added to the navbox, or if not, should the navbox be removed from the article? (— 𝐬𝐝𝐒𝐝𝐬 — - talk) 04:51, 11 February 2024 (UTC)
