entry and biography

[edit]

The documentation uses "entry" rather than "biography" for the Wikipedia article about someone who is in the Science Fiction Hall of Fame, and uses "biography" for the SFHOF article about the person.

The full title of any SFHOF biography comprises a version of the person's name and span of years, such as "Roger Zelazny 1937 – 1995" or "Anne McCaffrey 1926 –". --P64 (talk) 16:49, 18 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Major revisions

[edit]

Since this template was created (when its documentation was last revised), the museum has [1] (last year?) refashioned its website apparently without pages for hall of fame inductees; [2] (this month) restored the original name "Science Fiction and Fantasy Hall of Fame" (was "Science Fiction" from 2005 thru 2012).

So this template has been revised [1] to target copies of the citations at Internet Archive; [2] to name the Science Fiction and Fantasy Hall of Fame.

Future uses

[edit]

Meanwhile, EN.wikipedia has biographies of all 65 SFFhof inductees thru 2011 and all include this template. It seems unlikely that parallel URLs will ever be used for 2012 and later inductees, so it seems plausible that there will no new uses of this template at EN.wikipedia.

New uses should rely on visiting the appropriate biography and copying the completed template rather than finding the appropriate ID value in another way.
