"Original" programming
[edit]Per being reverted by @Salvidrim!:, how does Sammy J & Randy in Ricketts Lane qualify for inclusion in a template titled 'Seeso original programming' when the program is funded, produced by and first aired on the ABC in another country? It is not produced, funded or in any other way an "original" program. Sources note the program was acquired by Seeso [1] [2] but is not a production nor produced for Seeso. It has been acquired by Seeso. Why is it listed here as an 'original?' -- Whats new?(talk) 06:32, 28 November 2016 (UTC)
- You're quite correct, we should only include programming that is produced or commissioned by the network, the same we do for any other network. To draw a more direct parallel, a lot of shows for Netflix are branded as "original" programming in markets where they have exclusivity, but these are not produced by or for them.
