Ash Creek isn't a total ghost town...

[edit]

I visited this town recently and there are definitely people living there. Although many of the houses there are abandoned, the town still has residents.

According to a sourced part of the article, it's still a ghost town; can you provide sources for continued habitation? Nyttend (talk) 03:01, 27 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I noticed comments on multiple pages relevant to the communities of Ash Creek and Manley in Rock County. Indication has been made by several writers that neither is a ghost town per se. If that is the case, perhaps the Rock County template on Wikipedia should be changed and these two locations reclassified as unincorporated communities. Additional documentation and/or photos might offer some confirmation on their status, too. Any other thoughts on this? SWMNPoliSciProject (talk) 14:22, 17 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Classification at the template depends entirely on the classification on the article. If the sources on the article support the idea that it's populated, the article should be changed and then the template. Therefore, this is a question that would better be discussed at the article's talk page. Nyttend (talk) 17:24, 18 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
