[edit]

I am not sure how many drainage divisions there are in Western Australia. However it would probably be better to sort them into sections based on that. - Shiftchange (talk) 02:54, 25 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Exactly, is my intention, but not sure what the divisions should be yet - help would be appreciated Crusoe8181 (talk) 03:31, 25 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Looks like there are at least 19 but probably 44. If you click on one of the major basins at that link, another page shows 44 basins in a drop down menu. Could be tricky. Queensland only has 5 basin but at least as many rivers as WA, if not more. - Shiftchange (talk) 05:17, 25 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I was thinking about 4- north-west (Kimberleys +), Indian Ocean, south-west, and southern + any that might flow inland- Victoria has Murray basin, rivers to the coast and rivers flowing inland which seems about right Crusoe8181 (talk) 05:58, 25 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
That seems sensible, at least better than a long, alphabetical list. - Shiftchange (talk) 07:40, 27 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
