Template talk:Provinces of Britain
Updated cities' links
[edit]I have been bold and updated the cities' links in this template: my changes are listed here for ease of reference. It makes more sense in my opinion to indicate the article that explores the topic at hand in full, rather than a brief summary included in a related page.
- History of London#Roman London to Roman London
- History of York#Roman York to Eboracum
- Lincoln, Lincolnshire#Roman history: Lindum Colonia to Lindum Colonia
- Cirencester#Roman Corinium to Corinium Dobunnorum
Opinions on these changes are very welcome. Frank Westerton (talk) 16:50, 29 June 2010 (UTC)
Nice while it lasted
[edit]But there's just not any hard evidence that for the placement of the late provinces, let alone how they derived from earlier provinces. This treatment also allows links to future treatment of the pseudo-provinces of Vespasiana and Orcades.
What we could use would be columns with labels for Era & Province & Capital.
Also equal-sized boxes for the provinces.
Also images on the right with tentative borders for Britannia at its height c. 84; divided in twain post-Albinus; and quintisected under Diocletian & co. — LlywelynII 13:50, 1 March 2015 (UTC)
