Produce 101 Season 3
[edit]@AngusWOOF: Yonhap News and KStyle refer to Produce 48 as season 3 of Produce 101 despite the difference in name and format of the show. lullabying (talk) 22:11, 13 November 2018 (UTC)
- lullabying, I would leave it out until they roll out a Produce 101 Season 4. Otherwise it's too confusing. The navbar works fine with Produce 48. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 22:17, 13 November 2018 (UTC)
- @AngusWOOF: I'm not sure how it's confusing. The format before looked fine and was clear as well. The history edits show that you only removed that because the information was unsourced (which it now isn't). lullabying (talk) 22:24, 13 November 2018 (UTC)
- It was not marketed with "101 season 3" verbiage. Otherwise it would have 101 contestants (they had 96, what would 5 more be anyway?) AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 22:30, 13 November 2018 (UTC)
- You need to check the websites to see if they call it a season 3. I agree with you that it is the third South Korean series broadcast on Mnet, but it is not 101. Like I said, we can wait until they announce the next Produce 101 season that will be broadcast in Korea and see how they number it. If they skip to season 4 and brand the 48 version season 3, then it'll be obvious. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 22:34, 13 November 2018 (UTC)
- The next Produce 101 season is definitely season 4, as this article on Naver claims. lullabying (talk) 22:42, 13 November 2018 (UTC)
- This article on Naver also refers to a new season as "season 4" and Mnet has not directly refuted those claims. lullabying (talk) 22:45, 13 November 2018 (UTC)
- You should probably add that information to the Produce 48 article, see how people react to it. But then on the Produce 101 franchise article, there should be two tables, one for South Korean-based shows and one for China and other countries. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 23:05, 13 November 2018 (UTC)
Separate information?
[edit]The information on the table regarding the Chinese and Japanese versions probably shouldn't be mixed up with the South Korean ones, especially since the Chinese and Japanese versions are spin-offs. lullabying (talk) 16:00, 5 September 2019 (UTC)
