Category:License tags should be changed to Category:Wikipedia image copyright templates per Wikipedia:Categories for discussion/Log/2008 September 23#Category:License tags or removed, whichever is more appropriate for the template. Thanks. --Starcheerspeaksnewslostwars (talk) 23:31, 18 November 2011 (UTC)
- In fact, the redlinked category should simply be removed, as the suggested replacement is already applied. — This, that, and the other (talk) 08:47, 19 November 2011 (UTC)

Please change https://www.eff.org/IP/Open_licenses/eff_oal.php
to https://web.archive.org/web/20070114161831/http://www.eff.org:80/IP/Open_licenses/eff_oal.php
. The current link leads to a 404. Thank you. Jon Kolbert (talk) 20:05, 23 March 2018 (UTC)
- Done
- On the Request, it was frustrating to be unable to click on the links for validation.
- On the Template, should we be using a licence which is dead - at least the lack of a live link on the EFF website would indicate it's dead. It's only used on 3 files which all also have the equivalent {{Cc-by-sa-2.0}}. Cabayi (talk) 09:30, 24 March 2018 (UTC)
- @Cabayi: Once those remaining 3 files are transferred to Commons, I think a TfD would be in order. On a side note, it appears you accidentally edited the wrong link. Would it be possible to amend it? My intention was for the second link to be changed to the archive.org link. Cheers. Jon Kolbert (talk) 19:56, 24 March 2018 (UTC)
- Jon Kolbert, thanks for catching that. Fixed now. Cabayi (talk) 20:00, 24 March 2018 (UTC)
