[edit]Created template 9 July 2016. The Onehunga Branch railway line was reopened for passenger service in 2010. It branches off the main north-south line (NIMT) out of Auckland at Penrose Train Station. The re-opening brought about the creation of a new line, the Onehunga Line, but no article has yet been created for this passenger line. This Onehunga Line template is the first step in creating the Onehunga Line article, which is presently served by a redirect to Onehunga Branch.
To create this template, I copied the template from Template:Southern Line, Auckland to my sandbox and changed the data south of Penrose station where the Onehunga Branch branches off. In about 2 days, I will create the Onehunga Line article and link to this template from it in the same way that the other 3 lines in Auckland link to theirs (see Eastern Line, Auckland, Southern Line, Auckland, and Western Line, Auckland).
Also, for a good understanding of the layout of the lines in Auckland, refer to List of Auckland railway stations for a map of the 4 lines. Akld guy (talk) 05:26, 9 July 2016 (UTC)
