Channel Islands vs. Insular

Would anyone oppose if I renamed "Channel Islands" to "Insular"? (And, perhaps, while I'm at it, "mainland" to "Continental"?) The Jade Knight (talk) 21:34, 16 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Well, it is the Mainland. Insular would imply Anglo-Norman, hence it is not suitable.--MacRusgail (talk) 01:28, 17 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
