A couple of suggestions
[edit]1. It might be worth splitting national weeklies (e.g., SST) from local ones (e.g. Clutha Leader) 2. Should there be a section for defunct newspapers (e.g., Dunedin Evening Star, Hawkes Bay Herald-Tribune)?
Thoughts? Grutness...wha? 06:23, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
- I have a preference for current newspapers only. List of print media in New Zealand or a Newspapers in New Zealand article should be used to hand defunct publications. -- Alan Liefting (talk - contribs) 05:18, 22 May 2012 (UTC)
- I have a preference to include all newspapers current or defunct, with the divisions (current v defunct) made clear. It is convenient to have all the links so closely connected.Rick570 (talk) 20:49, 22 May 2012 (UTC)
- It would be even better to have a Newspapers in New Zealand article. -- Alan Liefting (talk - contribs) 01:09, 23 May 2012 (UTC)
The Star
[edit]The Star is listed as a defunct newspaper. It's very much an ongoing concern, but with its twice-weekly publication, it does not fit the other two categories ("dailies" and "national weeklies"). What do we do? Do we create another category "Other current newspapers"? Schwede66 00:27, 9 April 2015 (UTC)
