Template talk:Montenegrins
Appearance
I can understand the article on the Montenegrins of Vojvodina (or Montenegrins of Serbia) (they colonized it; much), but Montenegrins in Slovenia, Macedonia, Italy, Kosovo??? --PaxEquilibrium 20:46, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
- There are more Montenegrins in places where there aren't even Serbs around. Montenegrins are so spread out and all those countries added in the template have a minority of Montenegrins. --Crna Gora 03:56, 2 December 2006 (UTC)
- Correct - but what I meant is that we have to find somethin' to source it. I know - but fact is that much of them have been assimilated into Serbs (heck, ethnic Montenegrins are the majority of the population of Serbia ;). --PaxEquilibrium 12:30, 2 December 2006 (UTC)
Explanantion for my edits
[edit]- I removed the red links from the template. I somehow don't think that Montenegrins of Denmark and Montenegrins of Luxembourg are going to be written any time soon. As soon as they are, into the template they go.
- I reordered the languages. According to the latest census: "As of 2003, 63.5% of the population [of Montenegro] declare Serbian their mother tongue, while almost 22% declare Montenegrin."
- I reordered Serbia, Kosovo, and Vojvodina in the list of regions. A casual reader would think these are three different countries!
