Inclusion criteria
[edit]I have not included parties which were used only for one year and which were not affiliates of a national party. This leads to an awkward result, but is a good general rule, I think. – Philosopher Let us reason together. 20:19, 29 January 2013 (UTC)
Iowa Party
[edit]The awkward result. The Iowa Party label has just been used once, but came extremely close to the 2% threshold for becoming an official party - 1.8% of the vote to the 2.0% needed. Additionally, "it" appears to have been two separate parties, as there was a state legislative candidate also running under that banner who was not affiliated with its gubernatorial campaign. – Philosopher Let us reason together. 20:19, 29 January 2013 (UTC)
