Why was this merged?

This was created to "separate out creatures that only appear in mythology from the ones that interest cryptozoologists" [1]. How has this changed? I also can't find any evidence of a merge discussion.--Auric talk 18:23, 25 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hanging right brace
