Not sure what is going on here. First, IEEE calls them "Standards" while "Recommendation" seems to be ITU terminology. Also of course there is a mix of product trademarks (which I suppose could be meant by "common name"?) and standard numbers, but not all of them. Finally this might make more sense as a navbox at the bottom instead of taking up so much real-estate. There does seem some overlap with the LAN row of {{Internet access}} for example. But that includes others that either not standardized, historic, or not strictly for home use. W Nowicki (talk) 17:06, 27 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It might make sense to re-split so that this template covers only the IEEE Standards and the other only the ITU Recommendations. That said, they're both relatively seldom-used, so we could possibly just delete them if they're cluttering articles up. Chris Cunningham (user:thumperward) - talk 10:31, 5 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
{{ITU-T Home networking Recommendations}} already existed when you suggested such (though it has developed since then). 50.53.15.59 (talk) 19:39, 5 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
