Pre-1973 Manchester elections

There are now a large number years linked for Manchester dating back to 1838, and the overwhelming majority of those a) are redlinks, and b) pre-date the creation of Greater Manchester in 1974.

I propose that we move separate these elections in to their own (collapsed) section of the navbox, below the extant boroughs, where we can list elections for the municipal/county boroughs that preceded the 1974 local government reorganisation. I have spiked out such an implementation on my sandbox.

Not really seeing the issue TBH. I don't think the proposed hiding of pre-1973 elections is helpful or necessary. Number 5 7 19:55, 13 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
