[edit]A few things that were listed aren't done by general surgery, e.g. ovarian cancer debulking (done by gynecologic oncology), kidney transplants (done by urology)... ergo, I removed 'em. Nephron T|C 06:35, 3 February 2009 (UTC)
Scope of template
[edit]Is called 'gastrointestinal surgery', so one would think that surgical operations would be covered, but this instead seems to be a list of conditions that are managed surgically. --Tom (LT) (talk) 22:12, 2 April 2015 (UTC)
