Reverse transcription
[edit]Is it worth mentioning reverse transcriptase? In sequencing mRNA, ncRNA this reverse transcription step is crucial, e.g. for Illumina machines. Kazkaskazkasako (talk) 10:43, 8 November 2016 (UTC)
- Good points. I'm thinking of making a more extensive series of diagrams based on the same aesthetics for different pages. The current templates are specialised towards gene structure in naturally occurring organisms. However, I could make a version that covers the relevant key enzymes used in molecular biology and biotech (restriction enzymes, ligase, rev.transcriptase etc). - Would be very nice of you. Thanks for the effort. Kazkaskazkasako (talk) 10:21, 9 November 2016 (UTC)
