Parameter to ignore millennium category

This edit request has been answered. Set the |answered= or |ans= parameter to no to reactivate your request.

Is there a way to edit this so it ignores a blank millennium category? Territories like Category:19th-century establishments in Indian Territory only existed in one millennium (basically anything that stopped before the 21st did) so removing the parameter gets silly results but keeping it just requires the creation of a useless Category:2nd-millennium establishments in Indian Territory. -- Ricky81682 (talk) 00:54, 28 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

- @Ricky81682: Done If you set |nocat=yes, then all categories will be removed. You'll need to manually add whichever applicable categories are usually supplied by the template. ~ Rob^Talk 19:33, 2 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  - @BU Rob13: Thanks Rob but I instead followed the set-up done with Template:EstcatCountryCentury and made it into a if parameter on that category. I think that's easier. -- Ricky81682 (talk) 03:58, 3 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
    - Alright, that works. We may want to consider adding |nocat= as an option on all such templates, though. There are often problems that aren't easily fixable with automatic categorization. Not to mention this usually isn't desirable when the categories aren't sure to exist, as per WP:TCAT. ~ Rob₁₃^Talk 04:00, 3 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
