European Community

[edit]

Rather than link this template to European Community (itself a redirect to the general article European Economic Community), I have replaced this with a link to Accession of the United Kingdom to the European Communities, which is much more specific about the UK joining and Heath's involvement in the process. The European Economic Community article is a general history of the Community from the 1950s to 1990s which only mentions Heath once and briefly covers the UK joining in the 1970s, so it seems less relevant to this template. I have also added a link to the European Communities Act 1972 (UK) which was the specific means by which under the Heath government Britain joined the EEC and which is generally regarded as one of the most, if not the most, significant legislative acts passed while Heath was Prime Minister. Teach Yourself Heath

[edit]

I have add the Monty Python record Teach Yourself Heath to related articles. I did wonder if the Cultural depictions section might be the place to include it, but though it is popular culture influenced by Heath, it is not really a depiction as such in my view. However if others feel differently they are welcome to move accordingly. Dunarc (talk) 23:59, 18 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
