I think an editnotice like this is needed because users keep making edits to the article, particularly to the list of "Notable examples", that include or remove someone without explanation. I think it needs to be made clearer what the criteria for inclusion are (which has been agreed upon by consensus several times on the talk page). Change it and/or let me know if you think the notice could be made more concise or worded differently. I will make a section on the Talk:Sex symbol called "Edit Notice Proposal" in case anyone has any input or whoever reads this wants to make any comments/suggestions/changes/etc. Thanks! I think the notice is a bit too verbose. I'd suggest:

Not done: Perhaps this should be discussed a bit further to nail down the wording. In my personal opinion, this version has too much bolded-italics and the second sentence could use work. Anomie 15:18, 27 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I replied to Beyond My Ken's post about this on Talk:Sex symbol under the section Edit Notice Proposal. Hopefully we can perfect it and then re-request it here. It does seem like it might still need a bit stronger wording, as some users are still making poorly-sourced edits. Any input from anyone else is welcomed. -MsBatfish (talk) 08:02, 29 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
