Distances

[edit]

I do not think that distances should be included on this template as no other template include the distances on it what so ever.--Lucy-marie 16:17, 20 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

can you please translate that in to "English", so that I can understand you.Canterberry 16:18, 20 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You sir are an awkward and belligerent bully in my opinion. Who tries to bully people in to their way of thinking by being offensive towards dissenting views. If you report her I will report you that is not a threat but a guarantee.

Sock-puppets are not permitted on WP. Grow-up Lucy. Your style of writing is quite distinctive (broken grammar, spelling errors, writing as you would speak etc.), and your change to another account will fool nobody. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Canterberry (talkcontribs) 17:54, 20 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I am not a sock puppet please check my edits I am just an infrequent and not very regular editor. I just happen to be looking up trains today, this does not make me a sock puppet.--Jjamesj 18:10, 20 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have been looking at the contributions of you and Lucy and I note a pattern of behaviour that is exactly what I would expect from a sock-puppet. You have both made edits to other articles on the same day (Crossrail, Yearbook) and supported each other in order to make a point (classic puppet behaviour). I shall be bringing talking to another editor about this as I believe that there is enough evidence to make a report under Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets.Canterberry 18:22, 20 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Reported as a believed SPA hereiridescent (talk to me!) 18:46, 20 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

BTW, reverted back in distances, its consensus, if someone wants to change it go to WP:TRAIL. Pickle 15:30, 22 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Stations

[edit]

The stations are all using the major stations symbol, whereas many are minor stations/halts. Is there a reason for why this has been changed --> when I worked on the map (when I was a lad!), it was never like this. Should I be WP:BOLD ?? Canterberry 20:52, 3 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hmm, I'm in two minds, yes if we can keep small text for historical/refereed to stations, no if all station names have to be in 'normal' text; let me explain, the minor station icon is useful if (like Plumpton or Stonecross) the station is not really part of the "East Coastway" but has either historical significance or (like Plumpton) is an orphan that doesn't/can't fit another template, if small text can indicate these stations then the minor station icon is free. Does that rational make any sense? I've not changed anything re the station icon BTW - not guilty :) (SouthernElectric 21:14, 3 October 2007 (UTC))[reply]
