Accessibility
[edit]Bold text and underlining is a bad way to convey information per WP:ACCESS. Most screen readers do not indicate text attributes. It should be replaced with some other system. The overuse of flagicons should also be removed. They are not really needed and clutters the template. In a longer vertical list flags, provided that they were accompanied by country names, could be useful for navigational purposes, but not here. Rettetast (talk) 21:12, 6 April 2010 (UTC)
- (edit conflict) I made the edit, but have been reverted twice by the same editor. It would be great if he actually would come to the talk page and discuss his edits. Sigh. Rettetast (talk) 11:05, 7 April 2010 (UTC)
I think the flags could be not deleted, beacause the epicenter of the earthquake is more easy to identify. Only navigation could be erase in my opinion. Thanks!— Preceding unsigned comment added by TouLouse (talk • contribs)
- If it is just the flags, then why do you revert all other changes? How is text more difficult than flags. Do everybody know every flag. Should we presume that wikipedia readers does not not how to read. You second sentence make no sense. Rettetast (talk) 11:08, 7 April 2010 (UTC)
RM flags per my comments here Gnevin (talk) 15:40, 7 April 2010 (UTC)
- the flags and such political symbols are irrelevant to natural disasters.--DAI (Δ) 19:54, 7 April 2010 (UTC)
- I agree. There is no reason we need to have any flags in this template, especially since many earthquakes affect multiple countries (or have epicenters in the ocean). Kaldari (talk) 18:08, 9 April 2010 (UTC)
- However, the flags can be moused over to show what country it represents. How am I supposed to know that Ilocos, for example, is in the Phillipines without going to the earthquake article? ~AH1(TCU) 00:58, 11 April 2010 (UTC)
- Ilocos, Phillipines . Perhaps Gnevin (talk) 09:44, 12 April 2010 (UTC)
- It's a better idea spitting by mounth, but without using a lot of ()()()() - i want to use flag again with a smaller size . - SiMioN.EuGeN (talk) 11:09, 14 April 2010 (UTC)

As the template has been accessible since 2010, I'm removing the Accessibility Dispute template. Thisisnotatest (talk) 04:20, 20 January 2015 (UTC)
Disorder
[edit]The template, as it is now, seems awful and disordered. I'm gonna revert to the last good version. Diego Grez what's up? 21:56, 30 July 2010 (UTC)
