Template not working with some DOIs

[edit]

This template currently doesn't work with DOIs involving certain punctuation marks, such as for example DOI 10.1644/1545-1542(2002)083<0408:SOOWDO>2.0.CO;2  and DOI 10.3161/1733-5329(2007)9[39:LPBFFA2.0.CO;2]

The same DOIs will work using the closely related {{Doi}} template instead (doi:10.1644/1545-1542(2002)083<0408:SOOWDO>2.0.CO;2 and doi:10.3161/1733-5329(2007)9[39:LPBFFA2.0.CO;2]) hence there must be a problem within the {{Doi-inline}} template code rather than the actual DOI.

I've added the urlencode magic word, I think it works now. Korg (talk) 23:21, 24 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
