[edit]I imagine many people thought of Darius Milhaud's Christophe Colomb. Perhaps a better hook would have been "…a second opera by a Jewish composer on Christopher Columbus was written…" Sparafucil (talk) 19:50, 15 September 2024 (UTC)
- I doubt it. The average wiki reader would not know who Milhaud is, let alone about the other opera about Columbus. Only a small set of readers, mostly opera buffs, would know it, and that hook would most likely fail a DYK review for being too esoteric. We recently had a hook fail there because someone felt Puccini was too obscure.4meter4 (talk) 20:34, 15 September 2024 (UTC)
